1. Overview
The quality attribute defines the capability of a system to effectively interact with other systems for data exchange.
To achieve Registry interoperability, the Registries Platform supports two main information exchange configuration options:

Using Secure Exchange Gateway as protected transport.

Configuring direct integrations based on REST and SOAP protocols for systems that don’t participate in Secure Exchange Gateway connections.
Existing information systems, and Registries deployed on separate Registry Platform instances can act as external systems for integration.
